FORTFRISK / CONTRACT MANUFACTURING

Your own supplement. From concept to finished product.

Have a product idea but no finished formula or manufacturing set-up? Work with FortFrisk to define composition, dosage form, packaging and the work needed to prepare the product for sale.

Your product. A defined development process.

FortFrisk can help translate a commercial idea into a defined supplement project. Start with the market, intended audience, ingredient direction, preferred format and commercial brief. Formulation, feasibility, packaging and production are then scoped together.

An existing formulation

Assess a documented formulation against your brief and target-market requirements. Suitability, current availability and brand-use rights are checked before an offer is confirmed.

An adapted formulation

Discuss ingredient forms, composition and format changes where technically and legally feasible. Each change requires a coherent specification and documentation review.

A new product brief

Begin with your concept rather than a finished recipe. Development work, ingredient sourcing, trial requirements, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed before production.

Ingredient directions to explore.

These are starting points for feasibility work, not a list of approved or immediately available products. The selected formulation must be reviewed for the intended market.

Marine and algae oils

Fish oil, krill oil or algae-oil concepts, with specified EPA/DHA profile, oil form, capsule shell and full ingredient declaration.

Vitamins and minerals

Single-ingredient or combined formulations, with each vitamin or mineral form specified individually.

Selected B-vitamin forms

Examples include methylcobalamin and L-5-MTHF. Name the selected chemical forms rather than using an umbrella claim that every ingredient is methylated.

Berry and botanical ingredients

Define the species, plant part, powder or extract, and any declared standardisation. Ingredient identity is kept separate from health-claim wording.

Collagen and Q10 formulations

Assess single-ingredient and combined concepts with attention to ingredient source, carrier, shell material and serving basis.

Bacterial cultures, fibres and enzymes

A separate brief specifies culture identity or enzyme activity, formulation, storage and supporting stability information where relevant.

Choose the format with the formulation.

The development route can involve finished dosage forms or raw materials that need additional processing. Packaging and trial requirements are scoped for the actual product.

Softgels

Oil composition, fill quantity, shell composition and sealing requirements are part of the specification.

Hard capsules

Powder properties, fill mass, capsule size, shell material and excipients are considered together.

Tablets

The complete formulation, tablet size and production feasibility are checked before a final specification is agreed.

From brief to agreed delivery.

The scope can cover development, production coordination, packaging, supporting documents and delivery. Manufacturing sites, responsible legal entities and any external specialists are identified for the project; no single site is assumed to perform every step.

The commercial brief

Brand, market, intended audience, format, initial order forecast and planned launch.

Specification and documentation

Selected ingredients, complete formulation, samples or trials, quality documents and target-market review.

A written scope and timetable

Included work, minimum order, approval stages, delivery point and responsibilities. Development and new intellectual-property arrangements are agreed separately.

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Specification before production

We define the ingredient identity, chemical form, composition, capsule or tablet format, intended pack and target market. The formulation, approved label and order must describe the same product.

  2. 02

    The right manufacturing route

Depending on the brief, the starting point can be a documented finished formulation, bulk capsules or a raw material that still needs formulation and encapsulation. These are different delivery scopes, with different cost and timing implications.

  3. 03

    Packaging and market preparation

We coordinate the agreed container, closure and label work, with a clear assignment of filling, packing, label approval and batch coding. A packaging change is assessed against the actual product, not just its appearance.

  4. 04

    Documentation and delivery

Before dispatch, the agreed specification, batch documentation, packaging version and delivery arrangements are brought together. The party responsible for release and the receiving partner are identified in the project plan.
